One of the most anticipated new cars of 2021 is finally here: the Hyundai i20 N hot hatch. Slotting in beneath the instant-cult hit i30 N, the 1.6 turbo i20 N competes with the Ford Fiesta ST and Volkswagen Polo GTI, and in some ways, the Toyota GR Yaris, though this is a lower-powered, FWD hot hatch. It is only available with a manual gearbox and a front limited slip differential is standard.
But does the new i20 N live up to the hype? Should you rush out and buy an i20 N? In today’s episode of Chasing Cars, Ponch drives the i20 N on road and track to find out.
